Seniors' Wellness Centre

We serve older adults, their family members and essential care partners. Services include assessments, short-term treatments, education, and health promotion and wellness programs.

What to expect

Our team can help you manage a variety of mental health concerns. We provide services in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Our clinicians will work with you to create a care plan that meets your specific needs.

After your first in-person assessment, we offer a mix of virtual and in-person care, where appropriate.

We will update your referring physician about your care plan. We work closely with your family physician, family members, essential care partners and other health-care providers.

Please note that we are a teaching hospital, so you may see medical students, residents or other medical trainees as part of your care. Learners are supervised by other members of our dedicated health-care team who work together to provide you with comprehensive care.

What to bring

• Health (OHIP) card or valid health-care coverage
• A list of your current medications
• A support person, if desired
• Your glasses and/or hearing aids, if you usually use them

How to access our services

A referral from a physician or nurse practitioner is required for psychiatric services.

We also accept referrals from individuals, essential care partners, health-care providers and agencies for non-psychiatric services. Please see our referral criteria to make a referral to Psychiatry.
