For the holiday season, we’re inviting teams across Sinai Health to share about holiday giving. Whether you’re collecting for a toy or clothing drive, food bank or other charitable cause, submit a photo and a caption about it here. You can even invite others to participate! We’ll share your submissions in Captured Caring during December. We also continue to welcome non-holiday submissions as usual.

“For the last six years, the CMaRS team, in partnership with Information Services, has collected toys, gift cards, new winter hats, gloves, scarves and cash donations for shelters including The Red Door Family Shelter. We would love more groups to join us this year. We will provide posters and everything you need and will come and collect from your team.” Please note: This photo is from 2019.

“Mother Theresa said: ‘It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.’ The Mount Sinai ICU registered nurses, respiratory therapists and unit clerks embraced the spirit of giving this holiday season by packing shoeboxes filled with gifts for children ages two to 14 years of age. We as a community have endured a lot this year and the act of giving nourishes both the givers and receivers!”

“Every year, our team always gets into the holiday spirit, reminding each other what this time of year is all about, and making sure we take the time to be grateful. Join us this year as we strive to set new goals for our annual food donation box! Drop off a donation any time at Mount Sinai Hospital Switchboard and Locating.”
