A familiar face on CBC’s The National, Dr. Samir Sinha, Director of Geriatrics, was featured on a live health panel discussing the increasing rate type 2 diabetes diagnoses in Canada and how the disease can be managed. Dr. Julia Kfouri, a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at Mount Sinai Hospital was recently asked to share her thoughts on a study published showing that women over the age of 35, who deliver their babies by caesarean section are nearly twice as likely as those who deliver vaginally to suffer severe complications.
