Sinai Health is honoured to be named one of the Top Employers in Greater Toronto for the second year in a row. Our extraordinary team of employees, learners, physicians, scientists and volunteers make all our accomplishments possible.

“We’re proud to have received this award again,” says Susan Brown, Executive Vice President, People and Culture and Chief Human Resources Officer. “Our goal is to bring joy, wellness and energy to our people so they can be their best selves at work while caring, creating possibilities and offering hope.”

The award is given out annually by Mediacorp Canada and showcases Sinai Health’s commitment to investing in our people. It cited our accomplishments in managing an extensive healthy workplace program that focuses on physical and emotional wellbeing, as well as our investment in education for current and future generations.

We asked some our people for their highlights about working at Sinai Health. This is what they said:

Valerie Foster, Technologist, Pathology and Lab Medicine, says she likes that every day is full of creative challenges. “Our department is passionate about the work we do. Most people have been here for 10 to 15 years and we’re like a family. Everyone on our team cares and supports one another.”

As for Greg Walker, Technical Support, Information Systems, who has worked at Bridgepoint for 15 years, he says he has enjoyed seeing the hospital’s evolution. “Sinai Health has been very open to embracing new technology. As part of IT, I also get to meet a lot of people, hear stories, and understand many different perspectives.”

Ryan Vergara, Physiotherapist, Ambulatory Care says one of the best parts about his past ten years at Bridgepoint has been his team’s family-like connection. “I also enjoy seeing patients meet their goals. Everything we do has an impact on our patients’ lives.”

Congratulations Sinai Health!
