They are wearing scrubs and medical masks“We are thrilled to report that in just two months (and in the midst of a pandemic), 100 young adults have used the services of our newly launched RBC Pathway to Peers Program! In partnership with Stella’s Place, the program utilizes a peer support model of care for young adults (16-29 years of age) presenting to Mount Sinai’s Emergency Department with mental health and addiction issues. Pictured is our amazing Peer Support Worker, Referring Physician and Resident who worked together on our 100th case.”

“Thank you to the electricians who came on our floor with the mission to give patients access to TV and telephones. Nowadays, because of the limit for family and friendly visits, patients are in need of a means of using their time in a constructive way, to gain useful information from news channels or entertainment, and make phone calls. It helps keep them connected and occupied. A big bravo and please keep it up to our engineering team.”
