I am delighted to share our Sinai Health System Annual Report. Jointly created with the Sinai Health Foundation, this interactive digital report highlights our remarkable collaboration, innovation and successes from the past year.
This report was written for our community, including our patients and families, our volunteers, and our donors. I think our staff and faculty will also enjoy this report and especially the patient stories from across Sinai Health System. While no annual report can fully capture all the achievements of a large institution like ours, we have tried to celebrate some real accomplishments from right across Sinai Health.
I had the pleasure of sharing the annual report with our Board of Directors and our donor community last week at our Annual Meeting. Dr. Bob Bell, Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care was a guest speaker at that event. He highlighted our alignment with Ministry strategy to strengthen integrated care and invited us to teach others in the health-care system about our approach. His words were: “You simply represent the epitome of the Ontario Health System -we need to bring all the elements together in an integrated fashion to improve access, shorten wait times and improve patient experience and outcomes.”
