Linda E. Clarke is an author and a storyteller and, so, it made sense for her to tell the story of her own brain surgery and to invite her surgeon to tell the story with her. Together she and Dr. M. Cusimano have published their story. In this session, Linda will tell some of the story and discuss the effects of this experience on her, on her story, and on the broader community.
- To consider the value of hearing the personal experiences of the patient and the clinician
- To experience the way that personal story connects people
- To understand the roles that story plans for the individual and for the broader community
*The session will be beneficial to both those who have and have not read the book
