Dr. Shital Gandhi

Interim President, Professional Staff Association

Dr. Shital Gandhi is a graduate of McGill Medical School and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto. She went on to do a clinical fellowship in Obstetric Medicine and specializes in the management of medical problems in pregnant women. Dr. Gandhi also holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Harvard.

She is passionate about medical education, and supervises fellows, postgraduate trainees, and medical students in general internal medicine and obstetric medicine. She is the fellowship director for Obstetric Medicine, which attracts national and international physicians.

Dr. Gandhi has been involved in multiple hospital committees such as the Medical Records Committee and Research Ethics Board. Previous leadership roles include Site Chief for the inpatient medical wards and President of the Professional Staff Association. She returns as Interim President until September 2022.
