Peter F. Cohen

Peter F. Cohen is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a number of private companies in which he and his family own a significant equity interest. They include: The Dawsco Group, a real estate and investment company; Building Value Realty Group, a land development company; and BV Glazing Systems Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of custom aluminum window and curtain wall systems.

Peter is the Vice Chair and Lead Independent Director of Colliers International Group Inc., a publicly traded global real estate services and investment management firm. He was also a Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Centrefund Realty Corporation, a publicly traded owner and developer of mixed-use real estate, (now known as First Capital REIT) and was a past Chair of FirstService Corporation, a leading North American publicly traded essential property services firm.

Peter is a Chartered Public Accountant and early in his career was a partner in an audit practice of a public accounting firm. 

Prior to becoming the Chair of the Board of Sinai Health, Peter served as a Director, Treasurer, and Co-Chair of the Resources Committee, and Chair of the Buildings and Property Subcommittee.
