Thomas J (Tom) Kornya is the Deputy Vice Chair of Assurance for EY Americas, leading 20,000 professionals focused on providing high-quality, insightful and industry-focused assurance services to EY’s public, private and government clients. Prior to this, Tom was the Assurance Managing Partner for EY Canada and a member of the Canadian Firm’s Executive Committee.

Tom has significant client serving experience serving as the global client service partner for one of the largest financial services companies and is the senior advisory partner on a number of SEC registrants.

Tom is a member of the Global Diversity & Inclusiveness Steering Committee. While at EY, he has also served as a member of the Americas Advisory Council, and was the Office Managing Partner for the Greater Toronto Area.

Tom is very committed to supporting community organizations, and is currently the Co-Chair of the Sinai Health Audit and Risk Management Committee and a board member of the Sinai Health Foundation. Tom is also a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the University of Toronto Creative Destruction Lab.
