Daniel Sonshine

Daniel Sonshine is a Partner at TorQuest Partners and chairs TorQuest’s Investment Committee. Since joining TorQuest in 2004, Daniel has led TorQuest’s investments in several companies, including Can Art Aluminum Extrusion, Kissner, Spinrite, Joriki, Rubicon Pharmacies, Northwest Rubber, and Johnvince Foods.  

From 2001 to 2004, Daniel worked at CIBC World Markets in their merchant banking and investment banking groups. He takes an active role in his community having served in several leadership roles with the United Jewish Appeal, as a Board member of the Baycrest Foundation and on the Board of Trustees of Bishop Strachan School.  

Daniel graduated as the Gold Medalist from the combined J.D./M.B.A. program at the University of Toronto and received an A.B. (cum laude) in Economics from Harvard University. He lives in Toronto with his wife and three kids.
