Co-Chair

As Account Manager for XMC, Margot carries out experiential marketing responsibilities for the Campari Group. She previously worked for Sinai Health Foundation where she progressed through several roles to become Development Officer with the Signature Events, Engagement and Partnerships team. She led various events in the portfolio there, including Future Sinai’s very own Sinai Soiree and Recovery Brunch.

Tal Schwartz is General Partner at North Exit Ventures, a Canadian venture capital firm. Prior to this Tal founded Lenders API (acquired by Trust Science) and the Canadian Lenders Association. Tal frequently writes about the industry in his Canadian Fintech Newsletter and is also the host of the Canadian Finance Summit.

Jennifer is a high-achieving Public Service Professional and experienced leader in strategic planning. Jennifer is passionate about leading high-impact projects that transform organizations and empower teams. Her expertise is in workforce optimization, where Jennifer has successfully guided complex projects from concept to execution. Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Professional Consulting and Leading for Performance & Wellbeing.

Erin works in corporate partnerships within the technology and consumer brand space, where she focuses on building strategic relationships and collaborative initiatives. She is also the Co-Founder at Parallel Event Co, a Toronto-based event agency specializing in thoughtfully designed brand experiences.

Kathryn currently works in partnerships and regulatory strategy within the fintech sector, with a background spanning private wealth, corporate strategy and sales. Throughout her career, she has focused on client-facing roles and now brings that experience to Future Sinai to support fundraising and sponsorship strategy.

Daniel is the founder of Padder, a real estate technology platform empowering independent landlords to manage their properties. Before Padder, Daniel worked in Product, Operations and Strategy across Fintech, Insurtech, and Telecommunication industries. Daniel enjoys being active, cooking, and music when not at work.

Aman is a two-time entrepreneur turned venture capitalist, with a background in aerospace engineering. He brings experience in operations, management, and finance to the future Sinai board as a leader on the sponsorships team.

Akanksha Yeola works at the intersection of women’s health, sustainability, climate, and consumer education, helping scale Marlow, a brand redefining period care with innovative, organic, toxin-free, comfort-first products. She is driven by a vision of more equitable, transparent, and body-literate healthcare for women. She is also a trained dancer with a foundation in Kathak, contemporary, and Latin styles, and an active collaborator within the dance community.

Pooja Paturi is the Director, Digital Payments Fraud Prevention at the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) where she has oversight of the Canadian Anti-Scam Coalition, a cross-sector, public-private national effort to reduce the threat of scams to Canadians.  As part of her role, Pooja also works closely with industry to advocate for policy outcomes to regulators and government on key financial sector issues.

Emmy Zemel is a management consultant specializing in operations strategy and customer experience, where she advises organizations on growth, transformation, and delivering meaningful value. She is passionate about helping engage the next generation through thoughtful programming that drives connection, community, and support for hospital research.

Kritika is a graduate student completing her Master of Real Estate & Infrastructure at the Schulich School of Business. Prior to this, she worked at CBRE for three years in retail leasing, specializing in tenant representation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western University and enjoys traveling, pilates, and volunteering.

Daniela Lacaria is a Toronto-based business owner in the early learning sector, with a strong commitment to community engagement and initiatives that advance health care innovation. She is a graduate of McGill University and is actively involved in volunteer work. Daniela maintains a strong interest in health and wellness, participates regularly in fitness classes, and values travel as a means of broadening perspective and fostering meaningful connection.

Yasmeen is an HR Business Partner at CHANEL Canada, with a background spanning over 7+ years in the HR profession. She is a graduate of McGill University, where she completed her BSc, and had the rewarding experience of captaining the McGill Women's Volleyball team. Yasmeen actively leads Employee Giving Programs/Committees at her workplace and enjoys volunteering her time.

Sasha is a lawyer in the Real Estate Group at Goodmans LLP. Prior to practicing law, he completed his BA at McGill University and his JD/MBA at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business.

Tori is currently a Merchandise Planner at SSENSE. Prior to that, she worked at TJX Canada for five years and completed her BA at McGill University. Tori is a nationally ranked horseback rider and has a deep love for all animals.

Michael is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Lorne Steinberg Wealth Management. Prior to joining the investment industry, Michael graduated from McGill University, where he played on the Men's Varsity Basketball team. With a strong passion for giving back, Michael is excited to be a part of the Future Sinai community.

Co-Lead, Peer-to-Peer

Daniel Nazareth is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and Master of Management & Professional Accounting (MMPA) graduate from the University of Toronto. He provides damages quantification, financial analysis, economic advisory, and accounting services to clients, legal counsel, and the courts. Daniel is an avid marathon runner and is passionate about using fitness-based initiatives to engage Future Sinai members and raise funds in support of the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute.
