Shamez Virani

Shamez Virani founded Part Four to invest his capital across various asset classes in a way that aligns with his principles and passions.
In 2023, Shamez Co-Founded Alcorn Partners, a private equity investment company focused on acquiring and operating enduringly profitable private businesses with a long-term hold strategy. In 2023, Alcorn Partners closed its inaugural fund and completed its first majority investment in a niche Canadian manufacturing business.
Prior to 2022, Shamez spent 11 years helping to lead and grow CentreCourt from a start-up into one of Canada’s preeminent real estate developers with over $6.6 billion of development value across 18 high-rise towers. Shamez joined CentreCourt in 2011 and became a Partner and President in 2015. Shamez transitioned out of the President role and day-to-day operations of CentreCourt at the end of 2021 but remains a partner, shareholder, and board member in the business.
In 2020, Shamez received the most coveted award for young business leaders when he was named as one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40.”
Shamez’ prior work experience includes working in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs.
Shamez holds an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from Columbia Business School and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario.
Shamez sits on the voluntary Board of Directors for the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation and for the Hold’em for Life Charity Challenge.
Shamez lives in Toronto with his wife and two daughters.
