Stephen Green
Stephen Green has been practicing immigration law in Canada for over 30 years and currently acts as a co-managing partner of Green and Spiegel LLP. Mr. Green is recognized as a Certified Specialist in Immigration law by the Law Society of Ontario and co-wrote the authoritative book Temporary Entry into the Canadian Labour Market which provides a robust explanation of the avenues and implications of a foreign national’s temporary entry into the Canadian labour market.
Mr. Green participated in many programs including as Director, Canada Employment Relocation Council; Chair of the Citizenship and Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association; Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University, University of Windsor, and the University of Western Ontario; Co-Chair of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Annual Immigration Law Summit; Co-Chair of David Foster Gala; past Board Member of Sick Kids Foundation and has been asked by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to provide feedback on the federal government’s new Global Skills Strategy. Along with being recognized by Lexpert, Best Lawyers, and Chambers International, Mr. Green was recently inducted into the Legal 500: Business Immigration Hall of Fame 2023.
Mr. Green has a track record of success handling complex Canadian immigration cases .He has appeared at the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada for over three decades. His clients include fortune 500 companies and high net worth foreign nationals.
