On August 11, 2025, the 31st Annual Mount Sinai Classic raised more than $700,000 in support of the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI) – Sinai Health’s engine of innovation and discovery.

The annual golf tournament, hosted at the beautiful Magna Golf Club, is Sinai Health’s longest-running fundraising event and has raised $15 million in support of life-changing care and research since it began. This year, a new generation of volunteers took on the leadership of organizing this beloved event, building on its proud history of supporting Sinai Health.

“The energetic and dedicated group of volunteers who make up the organizing committee for this event are exceptional,” says Louis de Melo, President and CEO of Sinai Health Foundation. “We’re especially grateful to our Event Co-Chairs, Shane Grosman, Jamie Grossman and Joshua Sonshine, who are building on the legacy of this tournament and finding ways to bring it to new heights.”

With more than 100 golfers, generous sponsors and a passionate planning committee, the event was a resounding success. It featured a full day of golf, a curated silent auction and the debut of a Helicopter Ball Drop – an exciting spectacle where golf balls are dropped from a helicopter and the ball that lands closest to the hole wins a prize.

Sinai Health Foundation is deeply grateful to the Presenting Sponsors of the event, Equitable Bank and Peerage Capital Markets, whose leadership helped make this year's tournament possible. We also want to thank all of the sponsors, donors, volunteers, committee members, and partners at Magna Golf Club for making this year’s event one to remember.  We especially want to honour the memory of Andrew Moor, the late President and CEO of Equitable Bank, who was a committed supporter of this tournament and of Sinai Health.

We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for the 32nd Annual Mount Sinai Classic!
