Leadership Sinai Board Members
Lauren Epstein is a venture capital investor in Toronto, where she invests in and supports growth-oriented technology companies. Previously, Lauren spent several years working as a litigation lawyer at a leading Toronto commercial litigation law firm, after clerking at the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Lauren holds a B.A. in Government, cum laude, from Harvard University and completed the joint JD/MBA program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Rotman School of Management, graduating first in her class in the MBA program and as the gold medalist among the JD/MBA students.
Lauren developed a passion for supporting the Sinai Health Foundation and, in particular, Leadership Sinai after receiving excellent prenatal care and delivering both her son and her daughter at Mt. Sinai Hospital. She spends much of her time enjoying her fantastic family with her husband J.C.
Deana Feldman, the dynamic force behind the Deana Feldman Real Estate Group, stands as one of Toronto's preeminent brokers, recognized for her unparalleled expertise and commitment to excellence in the real estate industry. As the founder of her eponymous real estate team, Deana has consistently proven herself as a top-tier professional, navigating the complex Toronto real estate market.
Beyond her remarkable success in real estate, Deana is a passionate advocate for community engagement and philanthropy. She has devoted her time and energy to making a positive impact in Toronto, exemplifying true leadership.
Deana draws inspiration from the unwavering support of her husband, Joseph, and their daughter, Mila.
Jordan is currently a Director at Blair Franklin Capital Partners, a leading Canadian boutique investment bank. Headquartered in Toronto, Blair Franklin advises both public and private company boards, special committees, management teams, shareholders, and stakeholder groups on M&A mandates ranging in size from $25 million to multi-billion dollar transactions. Jordan earned his Honors of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Jordan began his term as LS Co-Chair in 2020. He joined the LS Board in 2019 to be directly involved supporting Sinai Health's critical, life saving care as well as the LTRI's world-class biomedical research. Jordan is passionate about engaging, empowering, and growing Sinai Health's next generation of philanthropic community leaders.
Jordan Fogle has been at the forefront of the marketing and events industry for more than two decades. He is the CEO of Mint, an integrated marketing and advertising agency based in Toronto, Co-founder of Diner En Blanc Toronto, and has previously been a part of re-shaping the superclub and restaurant industry with his involvement in Lobby, Brassaii and Old School. Jordan was previously a board member for Leadership Sinai and the Women's Brain Health Initiative. He is excited to rejoin the board at Leadership Sinai and continue to make an impact through thoughtful and memorable events and experiences.
Amanda Melvin is an experienced tech executive with 8+ years at Google Canada. She leads the App & Commerce vertical for the Global Partnerships business where she guides Canada's top apps and retail media networks in achieving their media goals and supporting product innovation. Before her time at Google, Amanda was a corporate associate at Paul, Weiss, a leading New York law firm.
Amanda holds a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Rotman School of Management, and spent a semester abroad with the National University of Singapore. She graduated with great distinction from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Amanda feels deeply indebted to the Sinai Health Foundation. Her first daughter arrived unexpectedly premature, born at only 33 weeks and received lifesaving care at the Sinai NICU. Amanda spends her personal time adventuring with her family, consuming fiction and the news in mostly digital formats and staying active (biking, yoga and chasing small children).
Shani Mornan is Executive Assistant to the Founder and Chairman of Peerage Capital. She is a graduate of York University with an Honours Degree in Communications Studies. An active philanthropist, published writer and photographer, she has a deep appreciation for growing, nurturing and giving back to the communities that have raised her. In addition to Leadership Sinai, Shani sits on the Board of Directors at BGC Toronto Kiwanis where she chairs the fundraising committee.
Manhar is a Partner at RMP, a full-service cloud accounting firm providing accounting, business advisory, and taxation services to clients throughout Canada. Prior to RMP, Manhar specialized in Capital Markets and Wealth Management while working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CIBC Wood Gundy. He has also contributed to the industry by founding new, intuitive online platforms to support individuals, small businesses, and medical professionals with their financial needs. Manhar is passionate about giving back to the community and investing in the next generation through his board positions at Leadership Sinai and past work with Junior Achievement, Toronto+Acumen, and Ashley’s Angels. Last year, Manhar and his wife welcomed a baby boy at Mount Sinai.
Nikki Rosychuk has 13+ years of progressive leadership experience delivering audience engagement/design initiatives and multi-million and billion-dollar industry growth strategies and investments for private and public sector clients across Canada and the U.S. Currently, Nikki is in senior management within the Ontario Public Service.
In addition to co-chairing Leadership Sinai, she is also a member of Women in Innovation (New York) and continues to lead yoga and arts programs throughout her community-at-large. Nikki remains committed to elevating the next generation of philanthropic leaders/community advocates and is always looking to collaborate on innovative initiatives - like Sinai Health's transformational care and research - to ensure her community flourishes for future generations.
Shawn Saraga is currently Vice President of Development for Freshii Restaurants. He is also a partner in MEET College for Psychotherapy and sits on several boards. Shawn is a serial entrepreneur whose career spans the franchise and retail leasing industry. He is a returning Board member who has chaired several galas and other initiatives for LS over the years. Shawn is looking to forward to bringing his years of experience to the board and assist with re-engaging our Alumni relations.
Brandon Siegal is the founder of Siegal Tax Law a boutique tax dispute resolution firm that uses technology to reach collaborative, pragmatic, and cost-effective solutions to tax disputes. When not resolving tax disputes Brandon has freelanced as a red carpet reporter for US Weekly - an international celebrity news magazine and coaches his son’s t-ball and hockey teams.
Brent is the Director of Development at Camrost Felcorp Inc., responsible for overseeing all developments within Camrost's residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolio. Working across many roles and functions, Brents expertise spans the areas of planning, finance, construction, marketing, and leasing/sales. Brent is tasked with securing essential development and planning approvals for the 6000+ residential units and 1 million square feet of commercial currently in Camrost's pipeline. Brent holds a Masters in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's Degree from Western University.
