“Every year in April there’s a date circled in my calendar and it’s one many of us look forward to – Administrative Professionals Day! Administrative Professionals are everywhere you look at Sinai Health – some just starting their careers and others who have dedicated more than 20 years of service. On April 24, we have an opportunity to thank you for the wonderful work they do for our patients, families and colleagues. But don’t stop there! Reflect on and highlight moments because chances are there are many you can identify where a profound difference in our daily lives is the result of outstanding support from an administrative professional. Thank you and happy Administrative Professionals Day!”

“During the week of March 25, our Maximizing Aging Using Volunteer Engagement (MAUVE) college co-op team hosted Easter activities for the inpatient units. They wore bunny ears as they visited patients’ room-to-room and crafted holiday decorations to gift them. Patients of all ages from all MAUVE units enjoyed the festivities. Staff received chocolate eggs and festive stickers. An Easter bunny made special appearances on 10 North and 10 South to delight staff and patients, bringing joy to all.”

“It was a delightfully uplifting scene in the office pantry, as many staff members had posted pictures of their beloved pets on the bulletin board in celebration of National Pet Day. Bright smiles spread across their faces when they spotted the adorable furry companions – dogs, cats, and even tortoise!”
