Ash Wednesday is a holy day of prayer and fasting in many Western Christian denominations. It is preceded by Shrove Tuesday and marks the first day of Lent, representing a season of penitence and reflection before Easter.
Join us for a prayer service at 2 p.m. in the Sacred Space, Room 5.135. The service will be led by Fr. Vijay, Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto.
Spiritual Care practitioners will also visit units to offer ashes to patients and our people from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
