Systemic Bias and Racism Speaker Series: Storytelling as a Tool for Mental Wellness | Virtual

February 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Sinai Health is committed to caring, creating possibilities and offering hope. For us to truly be a place of Inclusivity that fosters awareness and a sense of belonging, we must ensure this value is reflected in the experiences of all our people. Everyone is encouraged to join the conversation.

In this session, Breanna will facilitate learning through discussion about the ways in which Black communities utilize storytelling as a tool for caring for and maintaining mental wellness. Participants will experience the power of storytelling and will also discuss the importance of allowing clients to own their stories.

Breanna Chanelle Phillip is a social worker who has been working in community and social services for more than nine years.
