Barbara Hennick, CPA, CA

President and CEO, The Hennick Family Foundation

Barbara Hennick has been involved with Sinai Health Foundation for many years, holding important leadership roles. Barbara was most recently a Director on the Foundation Board. Barbara was also a Director and President of the Hospital’s Auxiliary Board and past Chair of the Audit Committee of our predecessor, Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation of Toronto.

Barbara is also involved in several other organizations. She is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the ROM and its Audit Committee. She has also been involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada and the United Jewish Appeal of Greater Toronto.

Barbara Hennick is a Certified Public Accountant CPA CA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. Barbara worked for ten years in both public accounting and private industry before dedicating herself to philanthropy.
