Sports Therapies
We focus on treating and preventing injuries related to sports and physical exercise.
What we do
Sports medicine is a branch of medicine dedicated to treating and preventing injuries associated with sports and physical exercise.
Sports medicine physicians work with athletes as well as individuals who have been injured during physical activity.
To schedule an appointment with a sports medicine physician, you will need a referral from your primary care physician.
During your appointment, the physician will do a thorough examination of the injury and may recommend diagnostic testing if necessary.
Treatment plans are tailored to the individual and may include:
- Physiotherapy
- Modified exercise routines
- Braces
- Injections
