Elysa Graci
Elysa Graci is a certified athletic therapist based at the Mount Sinai Fitness Centre. Elysa is trained to assess, treat, and prevent both chronic and acute athletic injuries.
She works one-on-one with patients to detect muscle imbalances and to help them strengthen specific muscles to alleviate pain and enhance performance. Her customized strength programs are aimed at bringing a patient back gradually and progressively to doing the activities they once enjoyed, free of pain.
Elysa works with people of all fitness levels, from competitive athletes to our hard-working hospital staff. Whether your goal is boosting your running speed, improving posture, increasing independence from a cane or walker, or simply becoming a stronger overall, Elysa will help you get there. She firmly advocates for the inclusion of resistance exercise in everyone’s routine, regardless of age or fitness level, emphasizing its ability to alleviate musculoskeletal pain and prevent future injuries.
As a competitive long-distance runner, Elysa has conquered the Boston Marathon twice, with a personal best of three hours and five minutes. She also enjoys swimming, strength training and yoga.
