Marguerite Merey is a registered massage therapist. After completing her degree in physical health and education (BPHE) at the University of Toronto, Marguerite pursued further education in massage and holistic studies during a two-year stay in Ireland, where she also worked as a massage therapist. These diplomas include sports massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, and reiki laid the foundations of her career as a massage therapist.

Upon returning to Toronto, Marguerite became a registered massage therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Since 2013, she has been practicing full-time, incorporating her diverse skill set into each treatment as needed.

Recently, Marguerite completed a 120-hour course in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) through Dr. Vodder School International, becoming a certified combined decongestive therapist (CDT). With expertise in both MLD and CDT techniques, she effectively treats people with lymphedema. In addition, MLD is beneficial for various conditions, including sinusitis, arthritis, repetitive strain injury, injury healing and edema (swelling) reduction, and stress reduction. Marguerite also has experience in treating patients with neurological conditions (post-stroke, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome) and providing care to patients following orthopaedic surgery.

Marguerite approaches her practice with a patient-centred and holistic focus, spending time to listen to her client and helping them in achieving greater health through treatment and self-care/remedial exercises.

In her leisure time, Marguerite enjoys staying active through cycling, swimming, running and weight training, as well as spending time with her springer spaniel, Tucker.
