Megan D'souza

Megan D’Souza is a licensed physiotherapist with a Master’s in Physiotherapy with Distinction from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a Minor in French from the University of Toronto.
Megan brings physiotherapy experience from diverse settings including the ICU, COVID-19 ICU, the burns unit, respiratory wards, and in public and private clinics across England and Toronto. She has served a wide variety of populations including those in critical care, pre-operative prehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, falls prevention in older adults, youth athletes, runners, dancers, desk workers, nurses and everyone in between. Her therapeutic toolbox includes myofascial release, manual therapy, taping, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping and shockwave. Furthermore, she is trained in managing incontinence and pelvic pain and has a special interest in pelvic function.
Megan employs a holistic approach by performing a thorough assessment to identify how the body is functioning as a system. She is passionate about helping people understand their bodies – education is at the heart of her treatment. Megan believes in the benefit of hands-on treatment, movement analysis and correction, and apt exercise prescription in order to improve the regulation of pain and movement. Her goal is to empower her clients to continue doing what makes them feel their best.
When Megan is not working hard in the clinic, you can catch her on a volleyball court, behind a piano or ukulele, or in the air training aerial circus arts.
