Deputy Premier Christine Elliott visits Mount Sinai

Staff in Mount Sinai’s Emergency Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit welcomed Honourable Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minster of Health and Long Term Care on a tour to learn more about the care we deliver in these high volume areas of our hospital.
Minister Elliott had the opportunity to meet with front line staff to better understand capacity issues and other opportunities to strengthen care. She was impressed by our provincial leadership in both areas and was grateful for the opportunity. This is the second time in recent months that the Deputy Premier has met with Sinai Health staff – in October she visited Bridgepoint and announced funding to open the 10th floor.
