Overview

Dr. Ellen Greenblatt is an expert in reproductive medicine with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples grow their families. She holds certification in obstetrics and gynaecology and is also certified in gynaecologic reproductive endocrinology and infertility (GREI). She completed her medical and specialty training in Toronto.

Dr. Greenblatt is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto. She is widely recognized for her leadership in fertility care. In 2010, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada named her a founder in GREI. In 2019, she became the first woman to receive the CFAS Award of Excellence.

In 2003, she launched one of Canada’s first fertility preservation programs for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Her research focuses on fertility preservation and advancing clinical care through innovation. In 2024, she led an AI-driven study to improve embryo transfer timing through more precise endometrial evaluation.

Dr. Greenblatt is known for combining compassionate care with clinical excellence. She remains committed to helping patients make informed decisions and achieve their family-building goals.
