Overview

Dr. Kimberly Liu is the Medical Director of Mount Sinai Fertility and an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto. She is an experienced reproductive endocrinologist and educator who has held leadership roles in fellowship training and academic development in the field of reproductive medicine.

Dr. Liu provides comprehensive fertility care with a strong emphasis on communication, choice and empowerment. She is known for building collaborative relationships with her patients, supporting them through each stage of their fertility journey with compassion and evidence-based care. Her clinical practice includes ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), third-party reproduction and fertility preservation.
Her academic work focuses on improving treatment success rates, ethical and legal considerations in reproductive care, and people-centred approaches to fertility. Dr. Liu has contributed to national clinical practice guidelines and publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals such as Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada. She is also actively involved in mentorship and teaching, supporting medical learners at all levels.

In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Liu engages in public education to increase fertility awareness and access to care. She contributes to educational initiatives at Mount Sinai Fertility and beyond, helping to address common fertility misconceptions and offering clear, accessible information on reproductive health and treatment options.
