Dr. Si Mei (Amy) Li
Dr. Si Mei (Amy) Li is a hospitalist and clinician investigator at Sinai Health. She earned her MD from the University of Calgary and completed a family medicine residency at Women’s College Hospital. She then completed a clinical fellowship in hospital medicine. She holds an MSc in community health and prevention research from Stanford University, where she was a Knight-Hennessy Scholar. She also completed a certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In addition, she completed the Machine Learning Software Foundations Certificate at the University of Toronto’s Data Sciences Institute. Her research and academic interests include quality improvement and care transitions. She also focuses on using machine learning and predictive analytics to guide clinical and operational decisions that enhance quality of care.
