Sinai Health’s Workplace Wellness offerings aim to optimize the health and well-being of our people.

We strive to deliver a wide range of high-quality, needs-driven, inclusive well-being initiatives that help foster resilience so we can provide quality, compassionate care to our patients and their families.


Employee and Family Assistance Program

Homewood Health provides voluntary, confidential, short-term counselling services to support all mental health needs. Services range from personal guidance, family assistance and resources for managing complex issues, all designed to enhance well-being and resilience.

This program is available to eligible employees, physicians, dentists, midwives and their immediate dependents at no additional cost.

It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by:

  • Sentio by Homewood Health: This is our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider. It can help improve your mental health and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
  • MindBeacon: Offers access to a wide range of mental health supports including therapy, CBT-guided programs, live sessions and in-person assessments.
  • BounceBack® Ontario: A skill-building program designed to help adults and youth aged 15 and older manage low mood, depression, anxiety, stress or worry by phone or through online videos.
  • Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH): Offers a range of supports through clinical programs and rehabilitation for people living with mental health challenges.
