Joanna Rotenberg

Managing Director, Personal Wealth, Vanguard Group Inc.

Joanna Rotenberg is managing director of Vanguard's Personal Wealth business, which serves millions of direct investors in the United States. Personal Wealth provides a range of capabilities to help all individual investors meet their goals, including brokerage services, cash management and advisory services, from digital advice to family office investment management.

Before joining Vanguard, Ms. Rotenberg was president of Personal Investing and Wealth Management at Fidelity Investments and a member of Fidelity’s executive management team. She also spent more than a decade at BMO Financial Group, where she was group head of BMO Wealth Management. In that role, she provided wealth and asset management solutions to clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and was a member of BMO’s executive committee. She started her career as a partner at McKinsey & Company and a leader in the firm’s North American financial services practice.

Ms. Rotenberg serves on the Board of Directors of Sinai Health in Toronto.

A member of the New York State Bar Association, Ms. Rotenberg holds a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto.
