Louis de Melo

President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sinai Health Foundation and Executive Vice President, Academic Advancement, Sinai Health

Louis de Melo is a highly respected fundraising leader with a strong track record of building strategic partnerships and managing successful fundraising initiatives. He previously served as Vice President, External Relations for the University of Ottawa, where he launched the largest campaign in the University’s history and tripled their annual fundraising revenue. His other leadership roles include serving as Executive Director, Advancement at Ashbury College; Executive Vice President, United Way of Ottawa; and CEO of the Government of Canada Charitable Workplace Campaign.

Louis is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa. He is a recipient of the Order of Merit with a grade of Commander from the Republic of Portugal.
