Audiologists

We work with audiologists from Hearing Life who perform diagnostic tests that help us diagnose hearing and balance disorders.

Nurses

Our nurses have special training in otolaryngology and help care for patients during their hospital stay.

Speech-language pathologists

Speech-language pathologists are important members of our Otolaryngology team. They work with patients to improve swallowing and communication challenges resulting from head and neck diseases and treatments.

Health disciplines

Health professionals, such as pharmacists and social workers, may also be part of your care.

Learners

Mount Sinai Hospital is an academic health science centre affiliated with the University of Toronto. You may be seen by medical students and otolaryngology residents or fellows as part of your care. Learners are supervised by other members of our dedicated health-care team who work together to provide you with comprehensive care.
