Sinai Transitional Addiction Medicine Program (STAMP) Clinic
We provide specialized care to patients with substance-use disorders.
What we do
The Sinai Transitional Addiction Medicine Program (STAMP) Clinic supports patients with substance use concerns who are receiving care at Sinai Health. Our interprofessional team offers both drop-in and virtual appointments.
What to expect
Our team of experienced health-care providers will work with you to develop a care plan tailored to your needs. Depending on your situation, you may be seen by an addictions psychiatrist, an addictions and mental health clinician, or an addictions medicine physician.
Your care may include:
- Harm reduction support and supplies
- Medication-assisted treatment for substance use
- Transition pain medication
- Counselling for substance use
- Help connecting you to community resources
- Support and information for family members and loved ones
Once your treatment is stable, you will return to the care of your regular health-care provider or a Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic in the community.
Please note we are a teaching hospital, so you may see medical students, residents or other medical trainees as part of your care team. Learners are supervised by other members of our dedicated health-care team who work together to provide you with comprehensive care.
What to bring
- Health (OHIP) card or valid health-care coverage, if possible
Rest assured that we will still see you if you do not have a health card.
How to access our services
You can attend the STAMP Clinic if:
- You were seen by the Addiction Medicine Consult Service during an admission at Mount Sinai Hospital, or
- You have a referral from a Sinai Health clinician
We also accept walk-in appointments during clinic hours. For virtual appointments, we will send you an access link before your scheduled time.
