Mature Women's Health

We provide comprehensive care and groundbreaking research to address the health needs of mature women.

The Mature Women's Health Program is a comprehensive clinical and academic program that addresses the health needs of mature women.

Declining hormones during perimenopause and menopause are associated with a number of health conditions ranging from hypertension to mood disorders. Our program aims to improve care and reduce stigma for mature women across a wide spectrum of health disciplines.

Sinai Health is one of the only health centres in North America that has made mature women's health a key strategic health priority.  Our clinical programs support more than 2500 women annually.

We are working to mobilize groundbreaking research efforts, public education and advocacy initiatives.

Our program currently offers one of the only postgraduate fellowships in menopause. We plan to further expand our fellowship programs and cultivate the next generation of leaders in mature women's health.

We work closely with specialists across a range of disciplines including endocrinology, cardiology, psychiatry and nutrition to provide comprehensive care for mature women.
