Emily Du
Emily Du is a Registered Social Worker in the Mental Health Program at the Mount Sinai Academic Family Health Team. Her focus is patient-centred to ensure patients feel seen and heard. She uses an integrative approach using CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness to work with patients 18 and above through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties.
Emily earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the Factor Inwentash School of Social Work at the University of Toronto and her Combined Bachelors' in Psychology & Political Science from McMaster University. She has extensive trainig in CBT for anxiety and mood disorders.
In her role, Emily also supervises medical students and residents in family medicine counselling settings and teaches counseling skills.
