Kevin Lam
Kevin Lam is a physiotherapist. He holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Queen’s University and a bachelor of science in biology and psychology degree from the University of Waterloo. After completing his education, Kevin embarked on a journey across Canada gaining valuable work experience in Vancouver before returning home to undertake a sport physiotherapy fellowship with the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine clinic.
During his fellowship, Kevin worked closely with Western varsity football and men’s basketball teams, while also providing care for numerous varsity sports injuries in clinic. His extensive experience with high-level athletes in a various sports have contributed to their ongoing success and return to play.
Kevin's credentials include KinetoCore Functional Dry Needling (FDN/IMS), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Sport Physiotherapy Canada (SPC) – Sport Certificate, and specialized training in vestibular rehabilitation.
Kevin is committed to providing personalized care through hands-on manual therapy, tailored exercise programs, and patient education to achieve client goals. With a diverse background in treating acute injuries on the field, in the emergency room, and in clinic settings, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice.
Having been involved in competitive lacrosse and basketball, Kevin understands firsthand the importance of effective strength and conditioning in injury prevention. In his leisure time, he enjoys staying active whether on the golf course or playing catch with his dog, Plato.
