In recognition of National Health Ethics Week, join Rosanna Macri, Bioethicist at Sinai Health for a discussion on "Exploring the Dignity of Risk."

Learning Objectives:

  • To explore the definition of risk and examine the current Ontario culture associated with living at risk
  • To introduce and apply Robert Perske’s concept of the Dignity of Risk
  • To review legal and ethical challenges associated with discharge planning

Rosanna is currently a Bioethicist at Sinai Health and a Lecturer at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto. Rosie is also an Accredited Intergenerational/Elder Mediator and enjoys working with patients, families and teams on values-based challenges.
