Mount Sinai Hospital has been named the third best hospital in Canada and listed among the top 30 in the world.

The ranking, managed by Newsweek magazine and in partnership with a global market research company, rates more than 1,000 health care institutions from 20 countries. The results were determined based on recommendations from medical professionals, patient surveys and key medical performance indicators.

“We are proud to be recognized alongside some of the finest health care institutions in the world,” says Dr. Gary Newton, President & CEO of Sinai Health. “All our accomplishments are made possible by our employees, physicians, scientists, learners and volunteers and their ongoing commitment to high-quality and patient-centred care.”
