Last week at the Association for Medical Education in Europe’s annual conference in Finland, the SimSinai Centre for Simulation-based Education and Patient-centered Initiatives and the University of Toronto Surgical Skills Centre at Mount Sinai received the inaugural  ASPIRE award for Excellence in Medical Education in Simulation—a major international educational prize recognizing outstanding achievement in simulation-based education. This is the first award of its kind to be received by a Canadian organization. SimSinai celebrated its grand reopening this past spring. Congratulations to the SimSinai and Surgical Skills Centre teams!
