Overview

Dr. Homero Flores Mendoza is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the Tecnológico de Monterrey School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Monterrey, Mexico, and his residency training through the Multicenter Program of Medical Specialties, also at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He then completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Toronto (U of T), followed by research fellowships at U of T and Women’s College Hospital.

Dr. Flores Mendoza practises prenatal diagnosis, fetal therapy, and complex obstetrical surgery at the Ontario Fetal Centre, Mount Sinai Hospital, with a particular focus on fetal surgery and placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorders. His research centres on the management of complex fetal anomalies, the implementation of fetal therapy, and PAS disorders.
