Dr. Joanna Ryan

Overview

Dr. Joanna Ryan is a breast surgical oncologist and general surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario and her general surgery residency training at the University of Alberta. During her residency, she also pursued graduate studies, earning a Master of Education in health sciences education from the University of Alberta. She completed her fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Ryan's research interests focus on surgical education, specifically assessment theory and validity.
