Overview
Dr. Kellie Murphy is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at Mount Sinai Hospital and Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto (U of T). She holds a cross-appointment with the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at U of T.
Her research focuses on prematurity, perinatal epidemiology, infectious diseases in pregnancy, and practice-changing randomized clinical trials that improve maternal and neonatal outcomes. Internationally recognized for her work on antenatal corticosteroid therapy, Dr. Murphy has led numerous multicentre clinical trials that have shaped obstetrical care worldwide.
She is committed to advancing excellence in women’s health through innovative research, evidence-based clinical care, and the education of future leaders in obstetrics and gynaecology.
