Overview

Dr. Stephanie Lapinsky is an obstetrician-gynaecologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto. She completed her medical training at the University of Toronto, including her medical degree, residency and a Master of Science in clinical epidemiology and health care research from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation.

Her clinical interests focus on the management of benign gynaecological conditions, including abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, premalignant changes to the endometrium, and ovarian cysts, as well as family planning and pregnancy management, including labour and delivery. Her research interests include population-based studies and the use of health administrative databases in obstetrics and gynaecology, perinatal mental health, and birth trauma.
