The Science of Care Institute (SCI) and Centre for Nursing Excellence (CNE), in partnership with the International Learning Collaborative invites you to a hybrid session exploring how to embed FoC into standards of practice using QI methodology.

Join this hybrid session featuring Dr Jenny Parr, Senior Research Fellow at the University of Auckland, explaining the Fundamentals of Care (FoC) Framework and its practical integration into standards of practice using quality improvement (QI) methodology. Drawing on international experience across health systems in New Zealand and the UK, Dr Parr will share insights into what has worked well, what has not, and key lessons learned when embedding FoC at scale. The session will encourage reflection, dialogue, and knowledge exchange among participants involved in clinical practice, leadership, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
