Sukkot, the Jewish festival of joy and gratitude, reminds us to give thanks for life’s blessings, especially the harvest and those who make it possible.

Sinai Health people, patients and family caregivers are invited to step into the sukkah—a traditional open-air booth—to share in ancient rituals and a sense of community.

Join us from October 7 to 10 for a special lunch-hour celebration. Each day from 12 to 1 p.m., we invite you to:

  • Visit the Sukkah
  • Shake the Lulav (palm, myrtle, and willow branches)
  • Smell the Etrog (a citrus fruit)
  • Enjoy a kosher treat
  • Reflect and rejoice in the abundance of the fall season

Rabbi Michael Latz, Spiritual Care Practitioner, will be present to guide you through the rituals and share reflections on the meaning of the festival.
