At Sinai Health, social workers work to support our patients and their families’ health and mental health across both our Hennick Bridgepoint and Mount Sinai campuses. This includes supporting both inpatient and outpatient programs. Sinai Health social workers are professionals who provide mental health counselling, facilitate support groups, advocate for adequate resources, address health inequities related to social determinants of health and are skilled at facilitating complex discharge planning. These are just a few examples of how social workers make a difference every day. Thank you to our fantastic social workers for everything you do!”

Our elevators are critical to ensuring a great patient experience and efficient hospital operations. As part of Renew Sinai’s elevator modernization project, Mount Sinai elevators are being refurbished to current efficiency and accessibility standards. This will facilitate faster travel time, a smoother and more visually appealing experience, and increased reliability. A project two years in the making, we recently completed a key milestone─the modernization of the University Avenue elevators. Thank you to our people, patients and visitors for their patience and flexibility throughout the project. Pictured here (right to left) are Sean Hannon, Project Manager, Capital Development and Mohammed Abdul-Ghani, Senior Manager, Building Services with the final elevator modernized on the University Avenue side. Congratulations to the Renew Sinai and Building Services teams for their hard work.”
