“Underground and in the background, Nancy Santos leads the construction taking place in the basement.

For MDRD, she managed critical, complex infrastructure projects ─ the installation of its booster pump, a key piece of equipment that regulates water pressure, and the installation of a dedicated steam line which required a hospital-wide steam shutdown.

For the kitchen, she managed the removal of a 50 year old duct running from floors 2 to 20, impacting every level of the hospital. The difficult move involved lifting new HVAC equipment via crane to the floor 9 roof, and a crane lift between the PMH and MSH buildings, requiring significant planning.

None of this crucial work would have been possible without Nancy’s leadership as a project manager. Thank you Nancy for your tremendous contributions to Renew Sinai.”
