Every day our people at Sinai Health are doing extraordinary things. Captured Caring is a series featuring submissions from our people to provide you with inspiration and encouragement as we care for patients and each other.

We’re inviting teams across Sinai Health to share your holiday giving initiatives. Whether you’re collecting for a toy or clothing drive, food bank or other charitable cause, submit a photo and a caption about it here. You can even invite others to participate!  We’ll share your submissions in Captured Caring during December.

“Nurse Practitioner Week runs from November 13 to 19 and we are recognizing the 29 nurse practitioners who support the discovery and delivery of life-changing care. Nurse Practitioners require eight plus years of clinical and academic preparation, and they support our patients, caregiver sand clinical teams from the Emergency Department, to the NICU, to clinical research. Nurse practitioners touch most of our clinical programs at Sinai Health and we are so appreciative of their commitment to safe, high-quality and compassionate care.”
Submitted by: Kara Ronald, Vice President, Professional Practice, Nursing and Health Disciplines, Sinai Health and Leanne Ginty, Director, Nursing Education and Academic Affairs, Mount Sinai Hospital

A look back at Halloween, when teams got creative with their Halloween costumes. Thank you to everyone who submitted photos.

“Co-op students from Volunteer Resources’ MAUVE (Maximizing Aging Using Volunteer Engagement) program provide social and emotional stimulation for older adult inpatients every day. They celebrated Halloween by dressing up to bring some cheer and joy to the units.”
