Notice of Magnet Recognition Program® Site Visit
Mount Sinai Hospital is the first and only hospital in Canada to achieve Magnet® Recognition for Nursing Excellence and Patient Care.
The program was created to recognize health care organizations that provide nursing excellence and to share successful nursing practices and strategies. The Magnet® Program is recognized as the gold standard of nursing excellence.
To maintain this prestigious designation, we will be hosting appraisers from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) on September 30, October 1 and 2, 2020 for a virtual site visit.
As part of our re-designation process, we are required to notify the public and offer them the opportunity to provide comments.
To share a comment, please see the public notice below. To learn more about Nursing at Mount Sinai, visit https://www.mountsinai.on.ca/nursing
