Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Fellowships
The Sinai Health Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) Fellowship is a specialized training program in Toronto, Canada. It teaches participants how to use medicines that fight infections in a safe and responsible way.
This program is for health-care providers who want to use antibiotics wisely in hospitals and other care settings. The main goal is to keep patients safe and help stop the spread of infections that resist medicine.
Fellows work with physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other health-care providers. They participate in daily activities to help teams choose the right antibiotics for patients. They also learn how to reduce the unnecessary use of antibiotics, which helps keep these medicines effective.
In addition to practical experience, fellows also take part in research and projects to improve the quality of care. These projects look at how antibiotics are used and find ways to make treatments safer and better. Additionally, fellows teach others about the right way to use antibiotics.
The fellowship is open to applicants from Canada and other countries. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who wants to help improve the use of antibiotics and make patient care better through hands-on work and research.
